The Bond Market Has A Massive Problem | Nick Givanovic
The Feds has unleashed chaos! every day we encounter novel challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.
I'll suggest you find a mentor or someone with experience guide you especially in this recession. for your and portfolio diversification.
Very true, a huge part of my portfolio growth has come during this bear market. I've been able to scale from $180K to $572K in a short period of time. I basically was just following the steps and guideline from my financial advisor. as long as you've professional help, you're good to go
@@LucasBenjamin-hv7sk Impressive can you share more info? i need to change my advisor immediately.
Impressive can you share more info?..I need to change my advisor immediately.
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with Annette Marie Holt for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Why does the Fed need to cut rates? To pump your bags?
I am about to throw up from the camera zooming in and out on this guy, because he's moving
These guys are kind of ridiculous. The financial fundamentals of Nike and Walgreens are not strong, and there are easy alternatives for those goods for consumers. They are being revalued fairly.
AI is overrated
FALL LANCIAZESHPOORI
Are they though…? yeah like eventually but imminently? Or this year…but people have been predicting rate cuts for years now and have been totally and completely and in all other ways wrong and like high or self deluded it’s almost insane and funny.
Great interview. Thanks.
The US economy is a powerhouse with a diverse range of sectors. The stock market and the dollar have traditionally been safe havens due to their long-term growth and stability. However, potential downturns are part of the economic cycle, and laws are in place to manage defaults and asset seizures. Inflation can be a concern, but remember, certain assets like stocks and Crypto’s acts as a hedge. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
Francine Duguay program is widely available online.
I appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the team behind Francine’s trade signal service.
Trading with an expert is the best strategy for beginners and busy investor s who have little or no time to monitor their trades.
The key to financial stability is having the right investment suggestions for a diverse portfolio. Many investment failures and losses happen when you invest without proper guidance.
It was quite challenging to understand the different trends on my own until i found out about Duguay. Trading made easy.
Europe buying the US bonds
Great episode. I do think that RFK Jr. is today's verison of JFK. And I agree with Tyler he has a chance.
Your advice really worked! I got a score of 9 out of 11 and I'm thrilled. It's been a while since I've seen such good results. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge!🍈
With all due respect, Mel Mattison sounded like nothing but an astrologer with a financial twist. He just THINKS that this would happen and that would happen... The fact is that nobody knows. Just look at the fact that UK lost its empire about 70-75 years back, but the Sterling Pound is still strong. Same with other major currencies. The bottomline is because of the TINA factor I doubt any of this will happen at least before 2050. China and Russia, the main cheerleaders of dedollarization, may cease to exist as we know them today. The probability of that happening is much higher. US has many unique strategic advantages, including the ownership of the USD and an infinite printing press.
These are great! The fed will pivot, liquidity and assets will rise. The question is will the fed break things first. Of course it will be blamed on some macro event.
1:40:04 This is a great point made by Daniel Peris, especially w/r/t M&M Theory and WACC. This is how asset bubbles crowd out real profits/growth/capex.
1:37:54 We’re not meeting our growth targets precisely because central banks are printing money. Asset bubbles crowd out real profits/growth/capex.
1:35:30 This idea shared with Russel Napier that more government is the solution to our problems is fundamentally flawed. We’re not dealing with a market failure. We’re dealing with the failure of the Managerial Revolution, which is markets being captured by the Administrative State through Wall Street and publicly traded stocks.
1:28:12 Newspapers (Journalism) began with political parties (ie the corporate press has always been the enemy of the people), as referenced by Ryan Holiday in Trust Me I’m Lying.
1:26:22 Interesting insight by Dimitri about the rise of influencers and “personal brands”.
1:24:38 Whoever owns the centralized database actually owns the data.
excellent thought provoking
Great episode guys!
1:09:20 In other words, Frontier Theory. The problem is when we run out of frontier to colonize to create new wealth in the hands of new people.
54:38 Just like that predictive programming propaganda funded by the Obamas and directed by Sam Esmail about a cyberattack. 🤔
40:19 This is not and never has been why capital markets are there. That’s just the bullshit story told to suckers to convince them to buy into a Ponzi scheme.
40:06 “Financial markets were never meant to be lottery tickets.” ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT? The origin of America selling off frontier land backstopped by government bonds, and underwriting railroad stocks and telegraph stocks are entirely this same form of speculative convexity gambling by market makers.
39:38 You can’t save your way to prosperity. 💯 But when asset bubbles crowd out real profits/capex, those convexity assets (ie speculative gambling) are what dominate the whole economy.
35:40 The problem seems to be Veblen goods and that when scarcity feels like a distant memory to most people, they start competing for social status, attention, and social media followers instead of competing for better products and services. It’s like when yuppie Boomers tell their kids to collect “experiences” instead of property, or how women don’t seem to even understand that scarcity is real, and are easily “bored” because they only think in terms of experiences and relationships not things. (Arguably this is the Longhouse and feminization of society writ large.)
32:50 What does Demetri mean by there are limits to technological growth? Says who? Why?
5k I've just invested in Rock Solid Protocol is going to make me a millionaire. Let's go!!
Boring times in the market are the best times to hold and buy more on every dip.
BTC will continue going sideways. I believe we will see 57,000, maybe even 51,000. An upward trend will come before the elections.
Just invested $10,000 in Rock Solid Protocol! This project is set to soar.
Up Only for BTC
Why settle for BTC, ETH, or SOL when you can go for Rock Solid Protocol? With its groundbreaking technology, 100x returns are practically guaranteed. Invest now and thaank me later.
I just stumbled upon Rock Solid Protocol. Has anyone else seen it? It looks really good. Apparently, you can become part of a mining operation by buying their token. It's in the presale phase. I have bought a nice chunk. Let's see.
That statement about there not being enough retail to buy the next bull leg seems pretty fitting for the downside in crypto currently. I’m currently seeing downside risk to $50,000 support level on $BTC. The next few weeks will be crucial in this window starting to develop. On-Balance volume went sub 10M around June 21st. Relative strength dropped to oversold at the same time. June 27-29th it exited oversold (30) level however OBV hasn’t broke back above 10M. This is signaling exactly what you were saying. Things could materialize differently obviously but everything is T’d up here for a move lower IMO.
In this bull run we all need to be patient.
If those guys from the Rock Solid Protocol manage to fulfill what they said in the whitepaper, it's a no-brainer that it will be a 100x minimum.
Forget BTC, ETH, and SOL! Those are yesterday's news. If you're looking for the next big thing, Rock Solid Protocol is where you want to be. With its cutting-edge technology, a 100x return is inevitable.
There is more risk being out of the market than being in the market right now.
11:38 Goodhart’s Law: When a measure becomes a target it ceases to be a useful measure.
Maybe the crypto space is stagnant because people like this come on and give an interview that could of been given in 2017. Bitcoiners are stuck in the past.
When others are fearful be greedy. When others are greedy be fearful.
I’m having trouble understanding the current market situation. One on hand, we keep hearing warnings about an impending crash/correction, while on the other hand, the market keeps reaching new all-time-highs. Oxymoron or Paradox? I’ve been sitting on the sidelines with fat cash, sucks to miss the run-ups. I want to take the plunge but I’m concerned about managing the risks.
Dollar cost averaging for the win
I do think there will be a correction or recession. As far when? Nobody knows. It’s good to have a nice balanced portfolio, including cash on the side, so we’re forever ready to trickle in when the crash happens.
The market may seem daunting but it can also be very lucrative if approached properly. I am still wet behind the ears however my advantage lies in tapping into the expertise of a true fiduciary.
who’d have ever thought I’d be able to pull in over a hundred K applying the right strategies
You are not considering the effect of AI in coming years which is something to be considered for the first time
luckily Im not anywhere near dumb enough to be a democrat but if I were that much of daft Ⓜ️oron as to enable me to be a democrat I would hope they replace Biden. Bc voting for him at this point isn't just dumb it's grounds to be institutionalized as a danger to urself and others.
Mike, our version of JFK is DeSantis. And the legacy media just completely shat on him.
Completely agree with orange shirt on the media. Really appreciate you guys. Please keep up the good work with the discussions. Even if you still don't see what it's like to be a minimum wage worker. Maybe go talk to some service workers and ask them about what's going on and I think you'll see things aren't as rosy as they seem. The same thing happened in Weimar during their inflation. People who came to the country to see what was happening thought there was huge growth, while the people were actually having a hard time. And that was before the bad hyperinflation set in.
Also, you guys need to check out the numbers on bankruptcies, defaults, repossessions, refinances, and credit spreads. Then realize that buy now pay later isn't even a part of those yet.
You can't just look at aggregate stuff though. You gotta look at the bottom half wages. Even with the increases, the spread vs price increases on food, insurance, and housing over the last four years means that people are still fucked.
